Treasure Valley police agencies join forces to apprehend 'Felony Lane Gang' suspects

Multiple police agencies in the Treasure Valley worked together to help bring down three suspects who are believed to have committed multiple acts of fraud and burglary across the Treasure Valley this Summer that has been dubbed, "Felony Lane Gang."

On Wednesday, September 13, a female suspect attempted to cash a $6,300 fraudulent check at a bank on Linder Rd. The bank teller recognized the suspect as 37-year-old Brittanie Nelson, according to police. Nelson left the bank before officers were able to respond.

Nampa and Meridian Police Detectives were able to trace Nelson and a second vehicle with suspect Tavaris Mills to an area near Blaine and 12th St. in Caldwell. Caldwell Police then attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Mills while detectives continued to follow Nelson in the second vehicle.

Nelson entered the freeway headed towards Nampa, where Nampa Police attempted a traffic stop at Exit 33. Nelson fled the attempted traffic stop and was pursued by Caldwell, Nampa, and Canyon County Police before she crashed into an apartment complex on Abraham Way in Caldwell, according to Police. Idaho State Police estimate at least two other vehicle crashes were associated with Nelsons attempted escape.

Boise Police, who had been working on a long-term investigation into the traveling fraud group, learned the same group of suspects were once again in the area breaking into cars and attempting to cash checks in Meridian and Caldwell.

Boise Police arrested a third suspect, Poline Falonne and Travaris Mills in a parking lot on the 2000 block of S. Vista Ave.

Nelson was booked into Canyon County Jail on charges of fictitious checks, misappropriation of personal identifying information, and attempted grand theft. Additional charges are pending, according to police.

Mill was arrested by BPD and has an outstanding warrant and a misdemeanor count of controlled substance possession and has been booked into the Ada County Jail. Mills will also be charged with felony eluding in Canyon County, among other expected charges.

Falonne had an active warrant out in Florida and was arrested by Boise Police without incident. Additional charges from Idaho are expected.
